Mary Katrantzou a St Martins Graduate, & currently now showing on schedule for the second time under the NEWGEN, Topshop iniaitive at this seasons LFW left us speechless. After her impressive run at last seasons fashion week, here at REB we believe she has certainly taken it up a notch. Her show stopping pieces in the fewest words possible could be described as a visual banquet. Her landmark haute couture structured silhouette dresses and peplum lampshade shape skirts were adorned with her trademark digital prints, yet this season she went for exquisite scenic prints, with hints of baroque mismatched with floral prints, working together, exuding decadence. This ready to wear collection can certainly be
defined as wearable art.

Print overload for the faint hearted but here at REB we love all prints, we secretly wish it was acceptable for us to mismatch and clash as much prints as was seen on the Katrantzou catwalk in our daily walk. Mary indeed fulfilled her self professed goal, "i want to push print to the limit" with this collection, printing on everything from knitwear to silk chiffon. She has come very far from her days at St Martins; it seems Ms Katrantzou is going from Print to Print! We love it, cannot wait for next season...
